NY Restaurant: ABC Kitchen

ABC Kitchen, called a “farm to table” restaurant is a new chic and sleek New York eatery that exemplifies a new style of cuisine, a culinary experience with a conscience. This unique and cozy restaurant serves such delectable delights as Clam, Mint and Parsley Pizza and Salted Caramel Peanut Ice Cream Sundaes.
ABC talks the talk and walks the walk in promoting a green lifestyle. The dining room is filled with recycled materials including old farmhouse beams and 100% recycled placemats. Many of the staff uniforms were found at thrift stores and even the cocktails are made with local and organic liquors. Now, that’s something to drink to.
Scottsdale: True Food Kitchen

Developed in partnership with Fox Restaurant Concepts and famous alternative health guru, Dr. Andrew Weil, these boutique restaurants resemble earthy and modern museum-like eateries. The food is fresh and the attitude is casual.
Locally grown and organic produce is used whenever possible. Hormone free chicken and sustainably harvested seafood is standard while pastas are wheat free, dairy is limited and organic flour and in-house purified bottled water is the norm.
San Francisco: Roots

Wholesome food with a Mediterranean flair is what defines this “organic” restaurant. Located in the lobby of Orchard Garden Hotel (the only San Fran hotel to meet U.S. Green Building Council Standards), this restaurant serves an ever-changing menu of sustainably caught seafood, local and seasonal produce and fair trade coffee and teas. Smoked trout with Fuji apples and tamale pie with Mexican truffles are a few of the taste-bud titillating specialties.
Virginia: Patowmack Farm

Patowmack Farm sits on a hill overlooking the Potomac River and uses sustainable and pesticide-free farming methods to grow its culinary goodies. The dining experience is filled with fresh herbs and specialty vegetables. The Chef switches with each subsequent harvest and the menu includes Hedgeapple Farm Beef Shortrib and Tortellini of Wild Mushrooms.
